Staffordshire Bull Terrier

I currently have 2 Staffordshire Bull Terrier bitches and they are absolutely fantastic. This breed has endless patience with children, a tremendous amount of loyalty for their family and an unbelievably friendly attitude towards any human they happen to meet.

As well as this, despite any bad press they have received, if they are continuously exposed to a variety of different dogs and situations throughout their life they will be much more likely to play than to attack when they come into contact with other dogs.

These dogs are very versatile and will fit into pretty much any exercise regime you have and as long as they are provided with plenty of attention and durable toys they tend not to destroy your house.

I recently rescued an abused Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a view of re-homing him and even he was gentle and friendly. This is surely a perfect example of exactly what a family dog should be.
